7 signs of an annoying roommate

Living with a roommate can be both hard and easy at the same time. If you land up with someone who comes with added annoying habits, it can get even rather intolerable. Here are few traits of an annoying roommate. If you have experienced more add to the list.

Leaving soiled plates

You do not have to be a stickler for tidiness to get turned off by soiled plates dumped on the sink. If they have been sitting there for days it is time for you to set down some real rules.

Not turning off the lights

Saving electricity is a concern for all at least in the name of environment but there will always be a few who refuse to spend that added energy to turn off lights when leaving the apartment.

Never answering the door

You are not a doorman which is why it is not always your responsibility to answer the door yet annoying roommates always prefer their food to be delivered in their room.

Taking too long in the bathroom

If you have to share a washroom with a roommate, things can get really difficult if he or she doesn’t understand the meaning of time management in bathroom. Meaning they have complete disregard for your fast banging on the door.

Having a naturally high decibel

Some people talk loud but when you have to live with a loudspeaker, things can get hard especially on a Sunday morning when you are trying to sleep and your roommate decides to give his family a call.

Forgetting their turns to pay bills

It is not possible to attain absolute independence with a roommate since there will be certain bills you will have to pay together. Forgetting to pay his or her share can be an absolute annoyance.

Being untidy

A strewn sock on the sofa, an empty beer can on the table and other such evidences of untidiness can be a mood downer when you come back home after a long day at work.
